Yep. Did mine at 40k. Shoulda done it sooner. Sorry to say the sled is down with a bad crank. Need to sell some Chevy stuff on eBay. Prolly need about 1400.
DennyO: Glad to hear the adjustment helped. I couldn't believe what a difference it made on my bike when I did what you just did. Amazing something so small can make such a difference.
On a side note, I modified my HF jack to move the pads to the outside of the lifting arms. Very easy and made more room to get to the rear suspension pieces between the arms as well as making it even more stable. If that is something you want to do to your HF jack, I can send you pics of what I did to my jack to make the very easy process even easier for you.

Let me know if you need an extra hand. Been way too long, my friend.

Thanks Dave. Ill prolly be down till April. Definatly plan on catchin up with you and my buddy over there. I also need to get up to 3 rivers and I wantt to do Yosemite. Thanks for the offer.
I'd like to see that jack mod. For me, I have the rear shocks set at one turn back, because we corner hard as we can and I need clearance more than softness. Banging the crash bars is always a bit unsettling.
But that's what they're for, right?

Me too. Got one turn left before no more adjustment. It cost me an outer primary before I adjusted mine. Just can't justify 1400 for shotgun shocks.
Ouch!!! I feel ya man. I can live with the grinds on the crashbars tho - I'm usually just scraping the bolts I welded under the floorboards. I get a lotta life out of a 4" headbolt. On my fifth set I think. I lose count.
