I have a Sundowner I can use for longer rides, but I won't hesitate to do a 2 hour trip across the state to visit friends on one.
Maybe, but I'll bet you wished you had the Sundowner for the ride home Man, anytime I hooked up riding with some buds and put on any distance, I would dread the thought of the miserable ride back. The LePita Solo made a candy-a$$ rider out of me last summer. I just couldn't hang with the suffering of long rides, nor did I see any point to doing so any longer. Sure it looked great, but any ride over 1.5 hours took all the enjoyment out of an otherwise great cruise.
My former LePita is history now. I really love the look, but fuction over form is my first priority. I'd much rather be riding my bike than to be looking at it.

I've been on worse. I owned a Honda RC51 at one point and that's about as close to sitting on a plank as you can get. The seat itself was about 1/2" thick the entire way through and had no shape. It was just a slab of wrapped padding.
I bought a LePera bare bones off ebay and though it was for an older model and didn't bolt up, I did put it on and sit on it and was amazed at how hard that damn thing was.
With the rough-*** roads around here, I'm looking for a compromise between that and a factory seat. C&C it seems...

It's all about what works for you Bud. Great looking ride, enjoy
