The Bare Bones is definately for around town.. I have a Maverick on mine and it is crazy comfortable for longer rides.

Great looking seat. Got about 40k on mine. Did a 2 day road trip from Ca to Idaho on it. A little sore but it is a good seat. I have a Mustang Vintage solo if I want to feel like I'm sitting in my Lazy chair.

literally sold mine last week on ebay. looks cool but i think the badlander is a good alternative and a little bit more comfy.

Bandlander feels like a lazy boy vs the bare bones. I remember putting the badlander back on the train. Felt like a sofa over the bones.

My LePera isnt the bare bones-- it has a bit more out back (see sig. pic) and has the biker gel - few hundred miles = no problem.
