Long days (5-600 miles) on the Barebones weren't a problem. After half an hour your *** is numb anyway... can't hurt when it's numb!

Getting back on after gas stops... and the NEXT day were the problems.

Ha ha ha...

I have two Le Pera seats for my FXSTC. One of which is a Bare Bones Solo. It doesn't pinch my tail bone but it's one uncomfortable seat if you ride more than 20 miles on it.

I only have about 1k on the seat so far and it doesn't feel like it's broken in any.

I use it because it looks good. Thats all.

My only regret is that I got vinyl instead of leather...the vinyl is indestructible so far, good stuff but just doesn't look as good or have the same feel.

A wooden 2x6 is more comfortable than a stock Deluxe seat! LOL

I didn't say that. No need to put words in my mouth. I just stated that after 20 miles of riding my butt starts hurting. I commute 5 days a week on the bike 100 miles daily. Not to mention riding with my friends on weekends.

I've never been to starbucks on my bike or any of my bikes.

My comment was in reference to the bare bones solo being hard and uncomfortable. I still deal with it. My *** is just numb about 20+ miles into any ride.

My le Pera Cherokee on the other hand is quite thin as well but for some reason I find the seat very comfy. It's broken in nicely.

As for how much I ride I'm sure there are some that ride a lot more than me but since mid June of this year I have put 13,000 miles on my bike.

Not too shabby...
