never thought about changing the fuel cap. flush mount looks pretty good.

One of the many mods I did when I first got my bike home.
The early flush mounts had a bad habit of the LEDs dying. My first set died.
The new versions don't suffer from it, or have as bad a failure rate.
Four years on them and no problems so far.

I saw one installed at the dealer the other day and the LED's on the fuel gauge look fantastic.
But, does the fuel cap give you any trouble with gloves on?

I don't have any trouble opening the cap with gloves on. The easiest way, I have found, is to put each thumb on the cap and give it a 1/4 CCW turn. It pops up and unscrew it.
To put it on, just screw it in until it clicks, push down and, again, thumbs with a 1/4 CW turn.
