Got the fender drilled and hung today. Also pulled the front axle and got the chrome support off. Tins should go off to paint tomorrow!
Still have to get the turn signal mounts powdercoated, signals mounted and wired, sidemount plate and tail light mounted and wired. Got to open up the holes in the frame cover and get it painted as well.
I attached a pic of the mounted fender, it sits a little higher off the tire than I would have liked, but because of the brackets, that is it. The edge of the fender does line up with the shoulder of the tire though. Also, this tire is on its outbound leg, so hopefully a new tire will close up the gap at least a little. All in all, I am digging it.
Lookin goooood! But then again, you and I appear to be headed in the same direction. I got my fender from Custom Chrome, but looks the same as the Shade Tree. Making my own brackets, only cause I'm too cheap to buy them and have the stuff laying around to do it. Still haven't decided on which seat to go with. Anything other than the High Rider Stock thing.

Great thread. Curious to read some updates on the matter. I have a crossbones and planning to do the same but not with Shadetree...
Shadetree has really nice fenders. Seems like a good choice.
