I'm new so I'm sorry if this has been answered--although I did search the threads first.
I can't find saddlebag guards that will fit a 96 heritage. Everything I've seen is 2000-2011. Does anyone know if anyone sells them? I feel like I've looked everywhere and get the same results. 2000 and newer.
UPDATE:
The harley part number for this part is 49158 89D and It has been discovered that it is "obsolete". No longer made, no one in the US-dealers or aftermarket mfg, has it.
There is a 'chance' that Waterford HD in Ireland may have one so I've contacted them and will await the response.
Who knew a part from 1996 would be considered "obsolete".
Wow Al. That would be on the upper level of amazing. I don't think I can PM you though, I haven't been a member long enough yet to have those priveleges. Either that or I have no clue how to do it. You can message me or my email is cpbedor@yahoo.com. Let's talk! Thank you.
Many thanks to Al (Eleft) for the rear highway bars. They arrived yesterday, they are on and fit perfectly. Al has seen the photos but I can't post em yet. Al, thank you so much--watch your mailbox!
