Not a problem. Didn't mean to come off like a dick with my post, it certainly wasn't directed at you. I just get annoyed at the perpetuation of misinformation. Ride safe over there, you Brits are crazy drivers!

Usually that is the MAX pressure a tire can go, not what the Normal pressure is and could be a lot higher.
IMO, It's best to check the owners manual to be sure..

Here is what Michelin says about the new Commander II's.

(Refer to the motorcycle owner’s manual for the vehicle’s load capacity. Michelin recommends the tire pressures quoted by the vehicle manufacturer.)

This right from their web site;
http://www.michelinmotorcycle.com/pubs/fitment2012.pdf

Scroll down to the Com-II's tires.

Thinking our Heritage says 38 solo or 40 if 2up on rear and 36 in front.

.

I've talked to Michelin people and they said go with owner's manual...

Do you guys run the sidewall pressure on your cage too? I cant even count how many times I've seen this misinformation posted around here.
Amen to that, I wish I knew how that particular 'myth' got started.
Stick with the books and not the tire markings.
