I just put bags on my wifes 06 deluxe tonight. We are running V&H true duals that are 2.5" O.D. with harley police style bag with pop-up latches and cycle vision brackets. we still need to get the bags painted but you can see in the pic below that the pipes don't run to the back of the bags. we have been saving and buying all year to get what we need to do this converion and can't afford another set of pipes. What I need is an exhaust tip/extension that is 8-9 " (if reusing the current tip) or 9-10" if they don't need a tip. I have been searching but can't seem to find anything like this...please help..really don't want fishtails if possible..
thanks

Most of the exhaust extensions will be either fishtail or sharktail. There is one company that makes these:
thamks Bikerlaw, I looked at this seller but it seems they only sell stuff for 1 3/4 pipes. 10" is about the max we can go unless I can cut them down and still make them look right. my wife likes the V&H duals we have on it now and we would rather just add extensions on the end and not replace the current mufflers. Someone has to make something like this.
Check out Python they're a secondary brand from V&H and are longer and will bolt right up. You could keep your V&H head pipes and use the longer Python mufflers. If you can't find the mufflers separately, let me know and I'll look up where I bought my Python fishtail tips that I put on my V&H true duals.
