Hey all,would anyone know if an 05 fatboy service manual can be used on a 04 fatboy,Thanx.

probably 95% correct, but that 5% could be what bites you.

it would require a detailed comparison to determine what may have changed 04 vs 05.

check over on the softail forum, those guys may be able to give a better response

I have 04 Softail service and diagnostic manuals. Look in your 05 what your are doing and quote something and I will tell you if it is different.

Some people wanted you to move above thread. I create folders for repair issues. However by being in wrong place will it get deleted since so many post come in there and push it down to were system deletes it?

I was wondering the same thing, I got an FLSTF last spring and need a manual. Is the Clymer manual good enough or better than the 2005 Harley downloadable online manual?

I have both Clymer and H-D manuals. The H-D one is better. '04 and '05 are pretty close, but I know there are some differences.
