Use heavy fork oil when you install the progressive kit. I went 2inches up front, it brings the bike down to a level rake. You said you was going to use progressive shocks on the rear? In the future you may want to look into the Shotgun Shock for the rear. It could be the best investment you ever made going into your bike. JMHO. You can adjust the firmness and softness of the ride and you will have 8 inches or so of ride height adjustment. Anything else, just ask bro. Thats what we are ALL here for.

i have the 16 rear 21 front combo and I wouldnt go back to the 16 front under any circumstances, the ride is fantastic, and much better with the 21'', in fact I'm going 23'' before the summer to complete my winter mods.

Thanks again for all the replys I'm all set and I'm going for the 21" front and 18" rear. Think I"ll go for the polished stainless spoke rotors too to match the wheels

This is really good info. I plan on going with shotgun for the rear and progressive up front. The heavy oil you use for the front fork is it because by lowering you have less travel and need a heavier lubricant. Excuse my ingnorance because I am sure this is common knowledge. Thank you

Listen to country he knows what he's talking about he helped me to get my bike where it is. 21x3.5 and 18x3.5 DNA for me running on WW from tab Metz. Just got my shotgun, it's worth every penny, dropped 2" progressives in the front with heavy oil. You won't look back and everyone will be taking pics of your bike lol.

Brother, we are ALL here to help. And you would be correct. You will need to use the Screaming Eagle Heavy Fork Oil. It helps with the damper of the forks. The Progressive Kit is about the best you can buy. You will not be disappointed.

Hate to be "that guy"... but I strongly suggest looking at some of the more expensive (and potentially better) brands of fat spoke wheels.

I've been disappointed with my DNA's. Been getting lots of rust on the chrome bits... and although it's not a big deal... they do leak.
