No matter what Suntower.... You have a great looking ride I really dig the color
Ha! I was just getting ready to say the same thing to you. She is pretty... and will look awesome with fat spokes. I have a serious love of green... next bike will probably be some kind of funky green. Maybe I'll do a pale metallic green and name her "The Mojito".
Now... You just need to drop that *** a couple inches!
Good luck man!
Seriously... thanks for the compliment. The bike actually fades from yellow-ish at the front fender to reddish at the rear fender (like a Tequila Sunrise)... I take a ton of **** from my buddies about my color choices... but screw them! I like it!
Besides... they all have black Road Kings... so wtf do they know!
Tower, I dig your Color. Its the Uniqueness that sets all of us apart from the Normal harley owner. And thats gonna be my next color is some WICKED flaked Green. White seat, white grips and of course some FAT WWs.

Everybody else here also have black bikes which is also why I love the difference and the green color of mine Actually of all the bikes I have owned only one has been black. If I was to go with another color it would be deep candy red with tons of flakes or flaked candy green
I had the 16 on the back, but when I do it again this spring, Im gonna go with the 18 like scootluver. I dig his sled, his and Malingerer are my 2 favorites on here. It just seemed like you have more room to clean the spokes with 18s also. Mine were also diamond cut, when going down the road they had a glimmer to them. LOVED THAT LOOK. JMHO. Any time that we can help, just ask.
Gotta say, Malingerer, scootluver and CountryD's Bikes all qualify as Fav's of mine. Planning on doing the DNA's on mine this winter and reading all the threads trying to put it all together. As you can see, with the Sissy Bar and Pad, I do alot of 2up but think that a nice 21 up front (52 spoke) will make a big difference. Starting to lean to the 18 in the back. Just not sure about Dropping it. Also gotta find an Anniversary Heritage front fender. Thanks for all the inspiration, ideas and Thoughts......Helps alot.
From my experiences, the 21x3.5 up front is the only way to go for me, as apposed to stretching a 90 on a 21x3.5 wheel. I know some have done it, but for me, I went with the 120 with the 3.5 wheel. I did lower the front with a progressive drop in kit and then went with Air Ride in the rear. Now, Im not saying the 18 up front is not a good option, because I have also had the 18 incher up front too. I just liked the look and feel of the 21 up front, so I made the change.
As far as handling, I didnt notice any change, going from the 18 to the 21. The bike performed great with the 21 and 18 up front. Like I said, I just liked the look of the bigger 21x3.5 up front. It just looks like it was supposed to be that way. Throw in some custom WWs from DB and it made the look even better. JMHO.
Heres a couple of pics so you can see the 18 I had and the 21 up front. The first 3 are with the 18x3.5 and then the last 2 with the 21x3.5.
They both rode great because I had them both 3.5 wide. So, they both looked beefy. Hope this helps in your decisions.
dude that 18" up front looks great. what tires are those?

Hello!
I just bought a 18x3.5 60 spoke for my deluxe. I love the look of it. But i am very comfused with what tire to put on because they all seem to be low profile. Te tire installed on your front wheel is perfect. Can you please let me know what size and brand of a white wall you used?
Thank you in advance!

Brother, we are ALL here to help. And you would be correct. You will need to use the Screaming Eagle Heavy Fork Oil. It helps with the damper of the forks. The Progressive Kit is about the best you can buy. You will not be disappointed.
Hey Country I have been following this thread and have a question. I am going with 21x3.5 for my front and 18x3.5 or 4.5. I am undecided on that. What is your suggestion? Do there need to be any modifications to the rear if going with the 4.5? Thanks everyone for all of the helpful information.
