Went and had fork spears/wind deflectors thrown on today. It hade for a good excuse to go ride in 28 degree weather. They help some but I wasn't expecting much anyways but anything will help with warmth.
They are the HD ones. The term spears is a nickname for them. Like fangs. Must be a regional term. So far they are helping. Not much but they are. The wind normally hitting my thighs and stomach has now been routed up and over my head, occasionally straight into my face as well but my legs are much warmer. As for cost I paid 70+ tax for them and my dealer installs most accessories for free. I say most because they won't front the bill for my Boom install and are quoting me 3 hours for install

They are Chrome. I like the look with the windsheild on. Not so much with the sheild off so they will probably go the way of the windsheild in warmer weather and be taken off.
