I finally got the sled on the road and let me just say going from stock to the upgraded parts , holy smokes .
I went with the Samson 42" cholos new Mikuni Carburetor and a Kuryakyn Hypercharger breather . I did not loose horse power I gained . She is so snappy nothing like before I parked it for the winter with stock parts .
I am one happy camper .
When I got mine on, they did different combo runs....with TQ cones, Baffles or nothing. Turns out that the TQ alone out performed (90 HP and 110 TQ) all different scenarios by 8 TQ and HP. Also very close to expected numbers for the 103 big bore kit w/ 255 cams. And I still have the final dyno break in tune to do here at the end of the month. Mechanic said due to cams and kit, there shouldn't be any loss due to dual pipes compared to V&H 2-2 I had before...in fact he said I should gain a point or two when all said and done.
Damn you Choloitos... Damn you.. Damn you.... I think it is just a matter of time before I submit.. has anybody tried the ones with the 15* upsweep ? maybe a solution to draggging..but not sure how they look ?
