Maybe they don't want to install them on your bike and then have you come back bitching about loss of performance. Tell them you understand they are not performance pipes and you want them anyway...
I'm sure they don't! I do all of my own work on my bike. I only use them for the things I don't want to do in my garage. The braided lines was one of those projects. I took apart some of the connections under the tank and the stock lines moved a bit. Then I wouldn't have really known the correct routing of them. LOL!
I always research things before I buy them (Homework ). I would rather spend a little more and have the quality like my front rim. Before I knew about this forum, I was looking at the DNA spokes, but didn't know much about them. I found the Ride Wright and instantly pulled the trigger just because of a few emails back and forth with them. I was assured I wouldn't have any problems with their products. So far, not a single complaint about it!
I am not going to let this bother me anymore. I know I will love them especially when I get them home and installed. The only thing I have to do is build a little bridge for the end of my driveway. It is a pretty big dip for drainage and I know the first time getting out, they will be turned into the upsweep system they also offer!

So your getting a shotgun shock too huh? Still 2 days left to save before the price goes up lmao.
I don't know a lot about pipes but just looking at them, Samson seems higher priced than V&H. And with the styles I've seen, I like V&H more. But that's me. Not much help I know.
I know, it's really just my driveway I am worried about. I just don't want to bend them when I leave here. Not worried about scraping them because they will be on the underside of the pipes. Even if it is visible, then people will know why they are there. But I also know that I will be walking into them constantly. It's like the trailer hitch on a truck, if it's there your shins will hurt.
