Default No codes?

Jam,

I went back into Diagnostic mode and cleared the codes. Installed Can adaptor and no codes returned and all turns still working perfect. I didn't start it though as its late and freezing outside here in NY.

Tomorrow i will back her out of the garage and fire it up and see if any codes trip.

I really appreciate all your help ! YOUR THE MAN

As for the CD LED turns ... I haven't seen a brighter or nicer looking turn on a bike.! Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Thanks

Jam,
I wanted to take a moment and thank you for this Thread!
I followed your directions from the wiring diagram and the instillation could not have gone more smoothly! The only thing i did differently, was I fabricated costume brackets to mount the LED light bar. I also secured the wires with 200MPH Gorilla Duct tape under the fender.
Thanks again for this post! This thread makes the LED up grade from Custom Dynamics so easy!

Default CD install questions

Can some who has installed the CD dynamic clusters LEDs on their Slim tell me if the turn signals lights come on steady with brake application.
Ive installed the CD dynamic cluster on my 12' slim and they seem to work fine if I were in the US but I am in Japan, and the amber turns come on steady with brake application. This apparently is not ok in JP. Looking at the wiring diagram, its a function of the Can system and the BCM. I had a local dealer program the BCM for international settings, but it didnt change the tail light problem. I have the CAN-BUS adaptor installed correctly. I am waiting on HDI LED light from HD but I dont see how the tail light/brake/running light assembly will fix the problem. Any one run into something similar??

Man, the color of your bike always gets me, Cronk. What color is that? Only thing I've seen that is as sweet as black and chrome.

Default Wig/Wag brake modular

Jam, I have a new 2014 Slim. I ordered the Wig/Wag brake modular. This is suppose to be install on the brake wiring. ( i think ) Do you by chance know, which side of the wiring harness, this should be installed on. The male or female side?

Go back and look at the diagrams I posted.
The Slims don't have a dedicated (center) brake light, so that wire coming out of the harness is not used.
You should have four wires coming from the harness to the plug under the seat (one for each signal, left and right), but only three running back to the lights. One wire gets dropped at the connection - this "extra" unused wire is your dedicated brake light circuit...

That is what I thought, but wanted you, the wiring Guru, to confirm that.

Thanks Jam.
