I just ordered Todd's cycles strip bars. And I was wondering if anyone else has these or knows of cable lengths that will work. I've done some searching but haven't seen a definite answer.
I'm replacing all the cables, brake clutch throttle and idle. And recommendations on a vendor for this would be appreciated as well. I've been looking at magnumshielding.com.
You will love them! I have them on mine too they are great.... I'm not sure on the cable lengths though. I went with the magnum BYO, which so far have worked out great!
I have them on my blackline. Best mod ive done, you'll love them. Installed the bars then measured for lengths. Went with +6 all around. Worked great for me. Ive read some guys saying +3 will work but that seemed too tight for my measurements. I think a +5 would be the shortest I would recommend. Also found that for the front brake line using a 90degree banjo at the bars and a 45 degree at the caliper helps route the cables tight to the bars and away from curving out towards the headlight. Had it the opposite way first and my brake line ran right towards the light instead of down the bars and forks, im **** and it looked like **** imo. Good luck
Only complication with wiring is getting the wires around the bend. Wasn't too bad, just be patient with it. I moved my turn signals down to the forks, so that was more wiring that had to be pulled through.
