Precleaned it and rattlecanned it with rustoleum to keep it from rusting. now getting it fitted. Picked up Chrome bolts and spacers from Ace Hardware. Using some old coax cable for spacing. Next step is drilling holes. Measure 15 times drill once, right? Still unsure about the length. i may want to extend the rear, possibly the front.
spent most of the day fitting the fender. tomorrow i get to break out the welder and fill in all 8 holes i drilled. i don't know if the fender is twisted or it's just me. i measured, got all 4 holes exactly the same. when i mounted it, the rear was nearly touching the right side of the tire, front was nearly touching the left. started over, made a template of the fender out of heavy cardboard mounted the template, perfect. transferred holes to the fender, same thing again. ugh
Hey man, I dont know if this will help but I bought a similar fender and had to make my own spacers, cant rememeber which side but all four spacers are not the same length, each side is (the pair) , but its a little different length on the other, im talking about a 1/16 of inch or so, not much but I could never get the damned thing sitting straight until I finally figured out that one sides spacers were a tad shorter.

I had the same problem when I fitted my WCC El Diablo fender. Pain in the *** but turned out the way I wanted in the end. Fender looks good!!!! Love the wrap around design.
finally got my fender fitted and mounted. dissected the factory fender to do it, but it was worth it. i'll be painting it next week, if i don't extend the back. i really want to tho.
Great look, I went with KlockWerks as they are pre-drilled and come with spacers, now waiting on the Paint job .
Are you going to keep it black ? did you think of matching the rear fender to it ? I almost thought of having the two fenders different than the tank, I think some new stock bikes come with very colorful tanks but black fenders , good look.
