Stuffa I have not done a late model connector yet so I'm no help there.Tips that I use to make wires hoses and cables an easy install are the following.First for pulling anything I use guitar strings particularly low E and A strings, these are the wound wire strings. If you don't know any guitar players just go but a set of cheap ones 5 bucks at most any music store. They find there own way everytime first try. What tony06 says about staggering wires is a must with 8 or more wires. The thicker gauge strings can be bent into a hook to pull the end of the harness.I tape everything at the hook To pull the wires I use a shot of brake cleaner in the bars.It freezes the harness for a couple seconds and lets you pull the wire without resistance. Be forwarned about Powder coat and paint. The fluid will ruin bothfast. you don't need a lot just a shot.Your tank should be covered anyway with something heavy enough to resist a wrench or other tool.A rag at exit hole has always worked for me without issue. A set of 1-1/2" bars and most 1-1/4" bars the fluid is not needed.1" bars are a bitch. If you look at the plug on the bike a wiring diagram should'nt be needed as the plug only goes in 1 way so you have the plug to look at for wire placement.
I like the Novello wire extentions for easy plug and play. The colors a great on them.Hope this helps someone in making this job easier for them.
