Are my forks trashed????
While riding a cable became wrapped up in my front wheel and spread the forks apart about a half to three quarters of an inch. The front fender is now off center and looks like it may be tweaked a bit. How should i proceed? Thanks in advance for any and all info. -MxB

Mmmm. Ridiculous big front wheels. Seriously..... After unbolting and removing the wheel and cable then refitting the wheel, is there still the same gap ?

I removed the cable but havent taken it completely apart yet i think ill measure it before and then again once i get it apart see if it comes back together at all. I was hoping that there is some play and it would come back together when i get the axle out. -MxB

Yeah I'd expect the forks to flex a bit. The may have just blinded up there. Go with the loosening the axle and see how it looks I'd say. I've had a similar issue on a dirt bike and that's all it took.

it might have just moved the axle in the pinch bolt side. i'd loosen every thing up, and see if it falls back into place. follow the service manual for torque, and spacing. i'll bet it will all go back without much problem....steve
