Hey Jeep. Born near you in Rochester so yea I'm putting a front fender on this one too...know what you mean. Rich's stuff is sweet..went over there and met him too..great guy. Let me know if you have any questions about the HHI WG for the Rocker. Some issues with getting / ordering the right stuff for it so don't want you to have to go through it like I did.

As for BR Customs I had a bad experience with them. Called them SEVERAL times to get one of his bars and NO call back!?! Couldn't believe it so went with FMB Chopper Parts. Owner modified one of his bars and built TO MY SPEC and had them out within a week and he powdered them free! No kidding. And he beat everyone else's prices to boot. My bro got a set from them, again customized, and he got it right. You can see in this thread customer service seems to be a thing of the past these days (at least for me) so I try to deal with people who still care. And I want people to know about it. Good luck with your build and keep us posted!

I hear u bro. I have no clue why motorcycle wheels are so much more expensive than car wheels. My tax guy just got me back a nice refund so shotgun shock will be on my bike very soon

Yea if I remember correctly he was just south of Buffalo. I agree, best to visit the shops. Been to Heartland, Shotgun, Renegade, Bitchin Seats, Landmark, DNA, etc. Everything bike is made here in SoCal so its easy. Had several PM's with guys on here too to get the low and that's been huge. You're like me..show up at the shop! lol

In Cali you can split lanes (I know..its sweet) so I needed a pair of mini apes that we're narrower than normal to keep from catching a mirror. Hard to do when people won't call you. If you don't mind let me know how the visit goes. Love his stuff and would like to get his bars one day..if he turns out to be cooler than I think he is.. and if he doesn't ignore my business. Lol

Sweet! The Shotgun Shock was the easiest decision so far. JD was very cool. Product is time tested and rebuildable. Went up there and he knocked off some $$ AND he put the shock on for free! He even let me help so I modified the switch housing and located it in a custom spot behind the grenade while he installed the shock housing and compressor. Very little clearance for the switch on our bikes especially if you're not raising the tank.

I don't let people work on my bike usually (bad experiences) so I was leery of letting him but he's installed hundreds of these and watching him you can sure tell! I want to throw this guy as much kudos as possible because he was killer to work with and his product has been nothing but perfect so far. You've been a big help to me too man so I'm glad to see you hook up with Shotgun...you'll be happy.

I mounted the switches above the coil using JD's supplied bracket.

Hey Kowan. His bracket is nice but your tank is raised right? If so then clearance isn't a problem? When we did the install last year mine wasn't...but that's about to change . I couldn't "finger" the switches (bare hands so no way with gloves) so I took one that wasn't bent yet and cut it and put mounting holes to the side to squeeze it to the right of the coil. Not my fav spot but seeing yours makes me want to call JD and get that bracket! Thanks for posting the pic...

Hey Trustno1...you want this bracket? If you're not gonna raise the tank you'll likely have the same problem with the supplied bracket...

i put my shotguns on last summer and i absolutely love them. still thinking about mounting my switches on my dash. hardest part i am having rt now is where to start. do i do the trees and get the 23 front wheel and wait on bars or do i do the trees and bars and wait on the wheels? will it look goofy with the extra rake and the stock 19? i cant take it! lol
