bikerlaw,

That's one helluva Fatty you've got there. A combo unit would complement it nicely.

I happen to like the looks of the analog combo units over the digital ones.

Here's mine on my 2012 Heritage

I've also got the multi colored combo from HD - I got lucky they changed out my stock one free under warranty because my backlight kept going out and they couldn't fix it after looking at it 4 times. I love all the colors.

will any of the combos from harley work? I just went thru all of them in the softail family and it looked like they completely jumped over the 04-06's

I've always preferred separate tach, separate speedo, cuz if 1 or the other goes bad, you only replace that one - you don't have to replace both!

This is what I put on my '98 Fatboy. I like to see the tach without looking down. Looks good on the bike too as long as you dont mind it sticking up a little.

Awesome info guys. I am digging the look of the dash units quite a bit. Thanks for the pics. Has anyone had a 2 in 1 unit fail. My Dyna blew two speedos in four years, and at almost 5 beans a pop, that would **** me off! I know the less expensive route is just mount a tach, but I ride with a windshield quite a bit and don't know if theres clearance issues with a tach. For the guys with the handlebar or triple tree tach's, do you have any issues with the tach's hitting the windshield? And thanks for the props Bone Doc.....

Thanks again!
