Dutch, although I appreciate your opinion otherwise, they are definitely Freedom Performance Independence pipes. Take a closer look on their website and you will see the chrome end caps. Also, there is no white lettering on the pipes, just a chrome badge that says "Freedom Performance." Let me know if you need a close up pic....
No worries bud, I just typed before thinking. Ended up going to their site and doing an "amendment" to my post immediately afterwards.
Nice looking pipes, what's involved in ceramic coating them, is it done over the chrome or with it striped off ? Thinking I may go black with my pipes if they ever start looking rough.
I believe it is blasted before being coated. With this silver ceramic, the pipes had a white protective film that had to be buffed off. Not Fun!
But I love the final look and finish. Also my legs dont seem to catch much heat from the pipes now.
I have the racing true duals as well. I've been very happy with the fit and quality of the exhaust. I also got the quiet baffle and it makes a difference. I'm actually thinking about swapping out the true duals with the Freedom Performance Union 2-1. My left leg is really getting toasted! I would definitely recommend them.
just thought i'd give an update! i bought the Freedom Performance Amendments today! i'll post up some pics when i get them put on and let everyone know if i have any issues with fitment, etc.
i love the exhaust! it looks awesome and sounds even better. a little bit of a pain on the fitment part. i had to remove the floorboard to get the pipes on. still have to do a little tweaking on the heatshields to get them perfect but other than that it was cake!
