Good to know! I would put BCTs in them if I go that route. Do you happen to remember the size/part number for the baffles? I already have some that fit V&H Short Shots/Big Shots, but could I be lucky enough for them to be the same size?

Been running Freedom Performance pipes since September 2012. I like the sound and performance appeared to improve after the install. However, they get hot. Originally, I planned to run exhaust wrap without heat shields, but ended up re-wrapping with the heat shields. Still gets toasty. A few jeans are retired as far as bike riding is concerned.

I actually reused the baffles I had in my BigRadius pipes

Default Pitting , Ceramic Coatings and Burning Jeans..?

These Freedom Pipes look great on your bikes and everyone seems to agree they sound just as good , but as I'm looking and reading everywhere doing my research on which pipes I want to get for my Softail I gotta ask , when I read your posts , things about pitting , ceramic coatings and burning jeans , are these what you'd consider "design" or "quality" issues ? , normal wear and tare or things that are unique to your bike ? Just curious , thanks !

I have no problems with Freedom Performance pipes.

If they are running too hot and burning jeans, the bike needs a proper tune.
