im not trying to make this a wtb thread . does anyone know where i can get a rear fender like the one pictured in the link below? just looking for something along these lines.
thanks
My bike is getting painted next winter, God willing I am around and can afford it by then. I don't want to ruin my stock tins and paint so I am getting new fenders to do. I already have another tank. The nicest fenders I have seen so far and what I want is made by a member here on this site. I don't know that I should just give out his name though. I am willing to pay for it and the shipping from Texas to Chicago I like them so much. If you want to know who PM me and I will ask the guy who makes the fenders if I can give out his name in PM.
1st and 3rd pics are arlen ness tail dragger fenders I have an 11" wide one I'm working on putting on my rocker. Well its on just raw metal and needing paint and still needing to make a seat pan just waiting on warm weather. Just an fyi the steel fenders are actually made by russ wernimont designs but I'm not sure if they'd sell directly or not. I learned this after I received mine.
I believe those tail dragger fenders are fiberglass and tell you the truth they do not flow well with the Softail lines. I custom make fenders out of American steel and would be glad to earn another custom fender job. Search Black Helmet Customs on Facebook or the old enter web. 903-274-9356
