Need help on my softail
My bike cut out in the middle of riding while going over a bridge and hasn't started up since. It cranks and backfires every once and a while but will not start anybody have any ideas? Thanks

What year, model is it?
It's kinda hard to guess what might be wrong if we have no idea whether your bike has a Twincam FI engine with a computer or one of the older EVO carbed engines in it.

Had same problem with my 03 deuce, ended up being the crankshaft position sensor, wish I'd known that before I replaced the icm, plugs, battery, coil pack and plug wires, but I guess I have spares if those parts ever fail.
