Haven't had a single issue with the HD in the two years it's been on the bike. After this year it will be time for a new replacement shield. I will probably get the glass from Memphis shades.

 

HD Quick detach on mine and love it. I did cut it down for the height. No issues with fitment, or mounts. I also have the air deflectors down the fork sides and think there the best addon I have ever purchased. Keep the fairings I will take my combo any day any night.
