I managed to get a pair of '00 screaming eagle softail slipons... I'm plannning on installing those sweet sounding pipes on a 2007 Deluxe. As many of you know now the newer screamin' eagle slipons are pretty fkn quiet... Turns out that my local dealer has plenty of "obsolete" slipons (previous version) the ones that sound pretty deep not the CA approved newer models...
The trick is gonna be to cancel the cross-over, which in the previous models is in the mufflers, now days the crossover is on the headpipes, so, I'm doing this on Wednesday, I'll post a couple of vids so you can judge the before and after tune... those slipons are a pretty good deal for $300 usd, I've heard them before, believe me, they sound much better than any of the other after-market muffs.
