Am I the only one that gets continually prompted to give this forum permission to post on my behalf in Facebook?
Am I the only one that faithfully checks with the sponsors of this forum yet can't stand my screen looking like a cage of monkeys with all of the animations that are sucking down my bandwidth?
Am I the only one that sees these continual ads popping up on top of the pictures that others post?
If so, please tell me what setting you use to avoid this.
I understand the need to advertise but it does seem to be getting out of hand. The adds popping up on pictures is really annoying.
I'm sure others are feeling the same. Giving it some thought, my visits to the site have dropped off and probably will continue to do so.
I'm not on facebook, so don't know about that situation. Yes, to the rest. The ads on pics is really stupid. The forum is starting to look like a NASCAR driver's suit.
Get the AdBlock extension for your browser and say goodbye to the ads...
I use Mozilla Foxfire for my browser and have Adblock and Noscript as extensions. It sometimes blocks things I want to see and I am still learning how to set it up. However, the constant ads, banners, etc are a thing of the past.

As far as the other issues, yes and no. On my work PC I get all the pop-up ads on pictures and other bullsh!t that drives everyone else nuts. On my iPad at home, nothing.
They say they're trying to fix it, but obviously aren't having any luck.
