Gents,

The diameter of the exhaust is too large to even fit inside the exhaust port to allow it to even get close to the exhaust gasket.

I've contacted J&P Cycles Tech Support and they said this is a first....

They want the dimensions of the exhaust port and the exhaust pipe.

First off, all of us here appreciate everything you guys are doing over in the sandbox. Thank you for your service!

As for the pipes, that does sound a bit odd. The pipe should fit into the exhaust port opening and seal up against the gasket. It won't necessarily fit 'into' the gasket, but it should definitely make contact with the gasket so that tightening the nuts will crush the gasket and create a seal. If the pipe isn't even touching the gasket, something is off.

Good luck, I dig those pipes! Don't see them around too often, maybe it's cause they don't fit? lol Be sure to post up some pics once you're back stateside! Be safe!

30glock and jreichart you are certainly welcome!

jreichart that is exactly the point I've been trying to get across. I just couldn't believe they won't fit into the exhaust ports like my RB Racing pipes did on my previous 124" build.

J&P Cycles wants me to send them the measurements of both the exhaust port and the pipe diameter.

I have a long ride to Sturgis in August and don't get back to the states till July so I should have enough time to find a set a pipes (that fit!) as close to this style as possible in time.
