Tired of looking-Made my own sissybar
Well guys, after a couple of months of trying to locate a sissybar (and luggage rack) for the Dark Knight build - mainly to haul women on occasion and gear on my trip in June.. I decided to make one. I picked up some brackets at a swap meet this weekend and went to work with some 1/2" round stock and 3/8" round stock... About $25 in materials. I had some flat steel laying around I welded to the bar to mount a pad to in the future. Check out the pics, I hope you like it.. It should give more attitude to the bike and maybe even allow the name I gave the project to fit it as well. Sending it to my powdercoat guy tomorrow and then going to locate or make a pad for it. Got the brackets for $40. Enjoy:

To me, the fact that you made it makes it look better than any off the rack bar out there.
That having been said, I really do do like it and think it does go with the name of your build, no questions about that.
