I'm thinking I would like a swingarm bag. The pics I have seen make me think they would rest on my pipes. I run true duals, would they rest on the bag or not? Anyone do it with true duals, if so, what brand?
They would hit your pipes unless you built a mounting bracket so you can mount it higher up than where it would normally sit. But to clear the pipes it might look odd being that high.
We make a kit that lets you hard mount your swingarm bag. You would have to measure, but you may be able to modify the mounting plates enough for it to clear your pipes.

Interesting problem, where to put a small bag on the bike now without going the full saddle bag route... For my work commute, I've gone with a small motorcycle backpack from Moto Centric.
Unfortunately, the kit is only designed for 2000-up Softails right now, but if you want to pm me, we may be able to get some measurements from you and make you a kit for your bike.
