SERT Adjustment question
My friend has an 07 softail custom and has vance and hines pipes, upgraded air filter and the SERT...all of this came from the harley dealer and the tuner was setup by the dealer.. my friend is wondering if he can adjust the tuner himself maybe to get more power out of his bike...is this possible or is there only one setup available for the tuner? He is also wondering why he was told that he cant take the baffles out of his pipes or it wont run correctly...thanks.

If its the SEpro then yes you can! you have to go to harley and buy the cable to plug into the bike. it will take forever to get it trust me! you will also have to buy the software. then learn! Harley doesn't make it easy for you to do this on your own because they don't want you to. Remember you can really screw up your bike if you don't know what you are doing! Check out the tuning section, lots of information in there!
