Glad you are both Ok and the bike is just a hunk of metal when it comes right down to it. I know how we all LOVE those hunks of metal too. It can be easily replaced though. I got my 1st dirt bike in the mid 60's around 10, I will be 56 in May and have never wore a helmet. Riding without one makes me hyper vigilant too. Never been down 1 single time. Call it skill, call it luck or call it God's grace, I don't know. I hope to make it through one more riding season with whatever one of the 3 that it is.
