Hello ,new to the forum ,new to Harley Davidson ,new to my Fat Boy.
I took a chance and imported a water damaged 2005 FLSTFI 1550 from the US.
(you only live once)
Bike arrived to-day ,very pleased with it.
Obviously there will be problems ,which with the help of the forum
i hope to rectify.
My first problem is the ignition, it came without keys.
On the tank where you flip the lid there is a round hole about 25mm deep,
looks like the barrel has been removed ,would this be the case.
Also do you need a fob (i hope not)
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks John
If there is a hole in the center of the switch under the cover, probably been drilled. Finding out if it has an alarm, if the switch is on, and the turn signals don't blink a pattern, then probably no alarm.

+1
If you have an alarm it does this alternating blinker thing.
If there is a hole then its been drilled. Probably have to buy a new ignition. Water damage? where did it come from?
I know they tax the crap out of you guys for imports, but where did it originate from?
