I have one that I use on my Limited. My wife traded her sporty for a Slim two weeks ago. The connector on the Softail's are different than the touring bikes. They sell a different PV for the Softail's. I talked with Jamie and he told me that the tuner is the same on both versions of the PV just the cable is different. They sell a cable that will adapt my PV to work on the Softail. I am sure most places would tell me that I had to buy a complete tuner for $500, instead of selling me a $25 cable. Jamie has always been great in my book.
PV is fantastic. And you can do some data logging yourself and then load the data into a program that comes with the PV and "auto tune" your map. Not on the fly like can be done with the extra auto tune equipment you add to the bike, but it works rather well.

When I bought my PV you HAD to use the software on a computer, after data logging, to adjust your MAP.....not any more....
The newer version of the PV allows for data logging and map adjusting all contained within the PV itself, with or without the added sensors and module... you can do a basic auto tune (stock O2 sensors) or auto tune pro, by adding wide band O2 sensors and the auto tune module.... and never hook it up to the computer...
I updated my unit and now have all the cool features...!
Another happy owner here, Jamie was very helpful and the map he uploaded is very good.I still have some decel popping so I plan on doing some auto tune runs to clean it up but if I cant I'm sure Jamie will send me a tune to fix it.
Has anyone used the Auto Tune feature to work out the decel popping on a loaded map? I have a map that Jamie sent with my unit. Bike runs great but has some pop on decel. I was going to try an Auto Tune on Jamie's map to see if I can get the results I want. If not I will give Jamie a call for a tweak on the map he sent me.
