Has anyone used the Auto Tune feature to work out the decel popping on a loaded map? I have a map that Jamie sent with my unit. Bike runs great but has some pop on decel. I was going to try an Auto Tune on Jamie's map to see if I can get the results I want. If not I will give Jamie a call for a tweak on the map he sent me.
Check out the tutorial videos at power vision, you can auto tune with the tune he sent you and it will make a edited tune that you can upload to a new slot without messing with the original tune. I have not tried this yet but I'm thinking that's the procedure from the tutorial.
PV all the way. I found it from non-board vendor for cheaper with free shipping. Yes, a legit company. The way I see it is, you have to auto-tune to your specific bike no matter what "map" you're starting with. I also had great customer service from Dynojet when calling with questions.
Fuel Moto has a "trade in any other tuner" and receive $150 of a PV, good til the of April. For example, I have a Dobeck DFO off an 06 I will sell for shipped $75. Buy that from me, ship to FM, and get $150 off a PV. That makes the PV cost to you $475

This is what i did also. i used the map from FM as a base line for the autotune and then just saved the autotune corrected map into a differant slot so i still have my tune from Jamie and the stock tune as well, along with the autotune map plus i still have 3 open slots.
I got mine form JPcycles, it's easy to install and when I got in touch with dynojet they sent me a custom map from day 1.
Then I emailed them my stock ecm setup as per their instructions and got another custom map specific for my setup a few days later.
I'm happy with the customer service.
I also like the fact that you can use the PV to monitor real time engine sensors, temps, VE values, etc...
Oh and touch screen is a plus. Definitely an improvement compared to all the other tuners I've had in the past.
