What race tuner? Ie..harley / power commander / ????

i HAVE A 02 ROAD KING CLASSIC AND WILL BE ADDING A AIR CLEANER AND TRU DUAL EXHAUST OF SOME SORT IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE. i WAS WONDERING WHAT TUNING SYSTEM TO GO WITH. SOME SAY POWER COMMANDER IS A GOOD ONE. OTHERS SAY STICK WITH A HARLEY RACE TUNER. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE DIFFERENT TUNERS AND HOW THEY WORK.

Head on over to the Tech Forums (Fuel Injection section) and read the 1000's of threads on this very subject.

Unfortunately, you'll have sift through the info to figure what's accurate and what's not then decide what's best for your needs.

Have used both and both are good. The down side to the sert is you have to have a good tuner set your bike up. I didnt twice and had back firing that really pissed me off. With the PC you can get get a pretty good map from Fuel Moto with out dyno your bike. The down side to the PC is no o2 senor unless you want to spend more money and put on the auto tune. Also you can put your bike back to stock and use or sell your PC. The sert stays with what ever bike it is installed on.

I had the PCIII and the Harley Race Tuner, both dyno tunes, the PCIII got better numbers that Harley Race Tuner. Still not satisfied, just installed the T-Max replacement ECM, got if from Fuel Motto.
From the seat of the pants fill, I wish I would have gotten it in the first place and not waisted my money on the other 2.

Again just my opinion and there will be plenty of other folks with theirs.

sert requries u find a good dynotuner,pc fromfuelmoto is pluggandplay but will probably not be as accurate as the sert(IF u have a good dyno operator)
