Default SPRINGER: Partial Burly Kit Install, is it possible?

I have a 2009 Crossbones that I put a big 21 x 3.5 wheel with 140/70 Metzeler on. I installed the full Burly Springer 1.5" lowering kit, but I want to add the Vulcan rake kit which lowers the frontend 1.5" to 1.75" in the front. With both kits that will be too much. I was wondering if it was possible to add part of the Burly kit. I was thinking of adding just the lower shorter springs and not the spacers up top. Is this do-able?

FYI, I sent Burly this same question and am waiting for an answer, but wanted to see if anyone here has added just part of the kit or has any input on this?
