Has anyone used this Harley Springer 4.5 Deg Rake Kit? I have a crossbones and was thinking about getting it. I want to drop the front end a couple inches and I like the look that it would give.
Wow! Thats a great idea. I have always thought the ONE thing wrong with the MOCO Springers is the De-Rake they put in them. Looks like you rear ended a bus. This is a cool product. Can't wait to see some one mount it up and give a review. The bike on their website looks just right.
True that on hitting the bus. I am interested to see a straight side shot. All in all there is some nice products on that site. All look very well machined
I can't imagine it's much different from putting the lowering springs on. I used the springs and didn't like the lack of compression that was left. The front end will probably get a little heavier off the jiffy stand but I would think that's about it.On my winter redo list for the BB.She needs just a little more leg to sit right.
anyone gave this a try? just picked up a springer classic and am looking to lowering the front end also. is this rake the only method to lower a springer or is there another kit out there that does the same thing?

As "back again" stated above, apparently there's a Lowering Spring Kit available. It sounds like a ride-quality sacrifice though.
