I put these forwards on my Fatboy. I prefer the "feel" of pegs to boards, so I'm glad I switched, but I can't say I'm much more stretched out. If I had it to do over, I'd strongly consider extended forwards.
The swap isn't that hard. Keep in mind you have to disconnect the rear brake master cylinder to swap it over to the new bracket, which means flushing the brake fluid. But it's nothing difficult, especially with a Mityvac. Plus you have to buy pegs and a brake pedal pad.
