Default dressing up old saddlebags

Anyone out there ever do anything to dress up their old sun faded saddlebags? My '94 Heritage has the original bags and they are in great shape except for the sag and finish...no cuts, tears, or stitching issues. I've thought of getting some shoe polishand dressing them up that way but thats an awful tedious job. Plus I don't know how well it'll hold up to the day to day wear. Then there is the issue of all the studs and keeping them from looking like crap. Any ideas aside from shelling out $800 for a new set of bags. I use them every day, so taking them off isn't an option.

A kit from gotsaggybags.comand some Doc Baily's would help a lot.

I use a little black leather dye on the really bad areas and wipe them down with neatsfoot oil.

Great for jackets and boots as well.

Only place I've been able to find neatsfoot is Ace Hardware.

As a leather craftsman, I would recommend Doc Bailey's leather Black.

It cleans, restores, and waterproofs in one easy application. Dyes need a finish coating, this stuff won't.
