That’s awesome! I have a 2008 with Trask turbo dyno was 130hp and 150 torque

The system is a pretty straight forward install that took about a full day at a leisurely pace, the folks at Trask where always available for questions and install tips which made it that much more enjoyable of an install. Fit and finish is world class clean and and very well thought out over the other turbo kits Ive installed on other vehicles Ive owned. This bike will power wheelie 2nd and 3rd gear with very little effort and the thunder max ecm is amazing and smooth even when not on the boost, sure wish I would have bought one years ago when i built out my old RK instead of wasting my money on power commanders. The only Thunder max complaint would be that the 6th gear indicator light doesnt work but from I understand I just need to do some more speedo calibrating config stuff within the software. Next on the to do list is wheels....18 rear 21 front...have lowering rockers in hand just need to sort out what wheels.
So much fun on a springer. Glad to see someone else with this set up
Wow man you and Prw3's bikes are awesome! My CB is now my fun bike since I bought the Deluxe so I'm really considering the trask turbo. Nice bikes fellas!
I had a CVO Road King with a built turbo set up and that thing was WARM. I loved the power and would love to have this set up on my bones just for that wow factor but the heat on the last one has me scared away.........
I hear ya, its a tough bill to swallow but in the past Ive spent equal or better on 103, 117 and 124 inch motors all built proper and for the most part beyond my garage ability. For a bolt on system sort of speak its a pretty tough value to beat and Nick at trask understands that. I have to admit I was skeptical in the beginning but what finalized the deal was a trip out to Phoenix Bike week a few weeks ago to see the system in a real world environment and after a few rides and talks with real owners it was a done deal. Cant say enough about the entire Trask team who hands down are CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST. Ive worked with numerous dealers, pro build shops and manufactures in my day and this group is the real deal. Money well spent IMHO Im looking forward to having them do a full blown Trask bagger at some point build as they build some amazingly sick bikes.
Agreed on the cost factor. You can spend 3k easily on a motor with cams pistons and a little head work after you went the exhaust a/c route and not get anywhere close to that performance
