Looking to get a set of tins for my 06 FatBoy. My question is can a carburated gas tank be converted into a fuel inj? Thanks for any help...

Well anything can be done but not this easily.
The injected has a fuel pump in the tank. The carb tank does not have the compartment for it.
Injected tank to carb is pretty easy.

and don't buy a 2007 or later tank as they changed the way the fuel pump etc clamps into the tank.

A quick search will make you wiser on that one.

Just replaced my tins a few months ago. Was told by a dealer and indy that FI can be converted to Carb but carb can't be converted to FI.

07s to 09 are also different inside. The 09's have more mounting brackets inside. Not sure if 08's are the same as 07's or 09's as I've never had one in my hands, but I know that they are different between those two years.
