Default Crankshaft

Hello, anyone out there in HD land know if a crankshaft and rods from a 2006 TC 88b / 1450 would fit a 2005 FLSTFI 1550, have the chance to buy as i need to replace my own or rebuild.
Thanks EXHAUSTED

all the 1550 kit does it add new or bored jugs and new pistons to fit.

Baring other work done to the other motor, if it was just a BB kit added to make it a 1550, then they probably used the stock crank and rods so they should also fit Ur stock 88''er.

Adding some cams while U have her tore down would will make more diff than just adding the BB kit.

Do check with others to make sure..

Same. The 1550 is bored out, with larger pistons, same crank and rods. If possible, check crank run out prior to removing the 1550 crank. Some year cranks are better then others, although its not a big deal imo unless you build a LARGE tq motor.

Default cranky

Would be an awesome time to have the crank trued and welded up. Good security for a long life engine.
