Default bumps

The bumps at the bottom are suppose to create some down force on the front end. That is what I was told when they put it on in Rapid City by the Klockwerks folks. In the end I put the HD windshield back on. On the 4000 mile ride back home and experiencing lots of different wind conditions I decided I liked the predictability of the HD windshield better especially in crosswinds.

Are you going to keep the KW shield or sell it? I need the one that fits the Nostalgia frame.

I like my shield with the reverse curve or flip at the top.

Memphis Shades, Long Ride Shields, Klock Werks, and Clearview Shields all have models with reverse curves at the top that greatly reduce head buffeting.

Clearview has a lot of choices for how tall or short you want it.

Klock Werks also has a "hips" on the sides to, they claim, "produce the same amount of additional down force".

Prices vary widely.
