+1, These may not be quite as effective as others, like Capt'n Itch's (who makes real high quality stuff IMHO), but then again it's not very visible/noticeable either, and they do make a heck of a difference.
Statement and a Question. I am putting 39" Tru Duals on and I had the three head pipes under the chrome heat shields ceramic coated to address the pipe heat issue. I am now considering a rear cylinder heat shield for my bike. Does anyone make a Chrome one? I can find Leather and the Polycarbonate heat shields left and right but no chrome. I even Googled it too. I also know that one that is made of metal, then chromed, will not be as effective as the other two options. I'm not just doing it to dissipate the heat but one that will show well too. It's a trade off and I am aware of that. I know I can have one made then sent out for chrome but I don't have that kind of time, at least right now. The bike is down so having one real quick would be great. If I can't get one or find one then I will just have one made, chromed and wait for next winter or at least the next few rainy days where if it's completed, I can throw it on then. Thanks in advance if anyone knows where I can find one.
