Handlebar upgrade help, please
I went with the Todd's Cycle knuckle risers since that is where I got my bars. Just basic plain risers, exactly what I was lookin for!
Those are great before and after pics of the brake line wiring. Questions, has anyone ever mentioned that drilling a hole in your bars might compromise the structural integrity? I was thinking of doing something similar but that's all I can think about when considering drilling a hole in mine. FYI I just bought the TC 17" strip bars, waiting to make a wiring decision before mounting though. Any issues with the bars cutting into the brake line? I'm sure you did something to pad that area..
OP sorry to hi-jack but it kinda is on the subject still
Oh, and will the stock CV carb work with the internal throttle setup? Being that it converts it to single cable action? And can you use the existing throttle cable?
... Thanks for the help.

No issues weakening the bars, it's only a 3/16" hole. I cut 4" off the left side for the throttle assembly. No issues with damage to the line either. I didn't grommet it, I drilled straight in then slowly turned the bit vertical to "slope" the hole. No sharp edges on the line and no visible wear so far.
