did you install the forward control extension? did everything bolt up the correct with no modifictions? needing to move mine forward a couple inches but trying to decide if i want to go that route or find some +2 or 3 chrome controls?
I bought the Ness 3" Extension kit for this setup, bolted right up no problems. I saw that HD has a set of fwd's but I had used Ness in the past when I had my Heritage converted from FL floorboards to FX fwds. The HD extended fwds in the catalog were pricey, plus since the bike already had fwd controls on it I opted to just extend them out at half the cost of HD or other aftermarkets.
Welcome to the Breakout club! I think it looks great!
Love the sound of the chrome slip-ons, and the last one without baffles is the best.
My question:
What are the saddlebag knuckles you have? I need saddlebags really bad!
What bags will fit with stock turn signals? Personally, I'll wait for Fox Creek to make a set that will work.
Enjoy the ride!
