I'm too lazy to get off my bike when I fuel up so I just pull close enough to the pump that
I can reach the nozzle and I use my debit card in the card reader.
I put my cap upside down on the seat between my legs so that way if I do some
how ride off without putting it back on it is safely tucked up next to my nuts.
I had my gas tank off to get some parts powder coated, it was leaning against a wall... It tipped over. Scratched my gas cap and tank paint. I repainted the whole tank too, but here's what I did with the gas cap. 1st pic is the chrome "live to ride" gas cap that was on the bike when I bought it, I painted it black. I just sanded down the raised edges and used some automotive clear coat over it. I like it way better. So an accident turned into a mod. Of course I wouldn't be tooling around like this on a brand new CVO.. but this worked for me
